About the NDIS

What is the NDIS?

The National Disability Insurance Scheme, also known as the NDIS, is run by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA).

The NDIS is for eligible Australians over 7 years old who have a permanent and significant disability. The NDIS also offers early intervention support for children with a developmental delay.

The NDIS funds ‘reasonable and necessary’ support and services to help people who have a disability achieve their goals.

NDIS Partners

The NDIS is delivered across Australia with the help of partners in the community. Below are two local organisations that can help you to navigate the NDIS support and services in your area.
